- Power switch (located in the middle of the switch unit, marked with Ledlenser logo)
- Ways of using the power switch: single click (push and release), double click (push and release 2 x shortly within 0.5 seconds), keep switch pushed (push and not release for a certain time). The different ways of using the switch are associated with different functionalities.
- General switch/app logic: Direct Control overrides switch and vice versa, also when lamp is connected with the app.
- Turn ML6 Connect on/off: keep pushing the power switch for > 1sec. will prompt the lamp to turn on or turn off.
- Select light functions: The ML6 Connect can be individually programmed with light functions (Switch Profiles). These light functions can be selected by clicking on the physical power switch. Any click on the power switch will prompt the lamp to cycle to the next light function in the switch profile sequence. When the last function in the switch profile is active, any further click will prompt the lamp to return to the first light function in the current programmed switch profile sequence. The default factory setting is: continuous white light (Mid Power) -> continuous red light (Mid Power) -> white blink -> red blink.
- Activate special function: Double click on the power switch will prompt any individually programmed special function to start. Any further click on any switch will prompt the lamp to return to the previous selected light function. As a default factory setting, no special function is assigned.
- Factory reset: keep pushing the power switch for 8 sec. or selecting “Factory reset” in “Device settings” via app will set back the lamp to factory settings. Any stored individual switch profile and timer will be deleted from the lamp, but can be restored via app. The factory reset may also be applied in case of an unexpected failure.
- “+” switch (located on the side of the switch unit)
- Ways of using the “+” switch: single click (push and release), double click (push and release 2 x shortly within 0.5 seconds), keep switch pushed (push and not release for a certain time). The different ways of using the switch are associated with different functionalities.
- General switch/app logic: Direct Control overrides switch and vice versa, also when lamp is connected with the app. The “+” switch cannot be individually programmed via app and always have the same functions.
- Stepless dim up continuous white light and continuous red light: Keep “+” switch pushed. When maximum light output is reached, main white or red light starts blinking.
- Dim up in steps continuous white light and continuous red light: Click on “+” switch. The next highest possible output level is selected (Low Power, Mid Power, Power).
- Boost function for maximum available light output in continuous white light and continuous red light mode: Double click on “+“ switch. Boost function starts from any continuous light function for 1 minute. Afterwards the lamp returns to the previously selected mode automatically. Clicking on any switch within the 1 minute boost period will immediately prompt the lamp to return to the previously selected mode.
- Direct red light activation: When the lamp is turned off, keep pushing “-“ or “+” switch will prompt continuous red light to turn on directly.
- Transportation Lock activation/deactivation: When ML6 Connect is turned off, keep pushing “-” and “+“ switch at the same time until the red main light blinks 4 times quickly will activate Transportation Lock. It will prevent the ML6 to accidentally turn on, e.g. when the lamp is transported in a backpack. When any switch is used in Transportation Lock, red main light blinks 4 times quickly to indicate Transportation Lock is still activated. Keep pushing “-” and “+“ switch at the same time again until the lamp turns on will deactivate Transportation Lock.
- “-” switch (located on the side of the switch unit)
- Ways of using the “-” switch: single click (push and release), keep switch pushed (push and not release for a certain time). The different ways of using the switch are associated with different functionalities.
- General switch/app logic: Direct Control overrides switch and vice versa, also when lamp is connected with the app. The “-” switch cannot be individually programmed via app and always have the same functions.
- Stepless dim down continuous white light and continuous red light: Keep “-” switch pushed. When minimum light output is reached, main white or red light starts blinking.
- Dim down in steps continuous white light and continuous red light: Click on “-” switch. The next lowest possible output level is selected (Power, Mid Power, Low Power).
- Direct red light activation: When the lamp is turned off, keep pushing “-” or “+” switch will prompt continuous red light to turn on directly.
